Egglings — Animated 2D Creature Pack

Turn a quiet egg into a little character with personality. Egglings gives you four cracking stages, shaking eggs and 21 hatch reveals, with quick blinks and character-specific reactions: a hop, a tongue flick, a puff of embers, bubbles and more.

Use the ready-made PNG sequences or sprite sheets to build a virtual pet, a collectible reward, a progress celebration or a small companion in your game or app. Frame order and timing are included, so held poses and pauses stay intact.

Inside the pack

• 21 creatures: penguin, chick, snake, gecko, dragon, axolotl, octopus, phoenix, robot, alien, turtle, platypus, owlet, crocodile, frog, hedgehog, bat, mushroom, cloud baby, crystal golem and mini mimic.
• 69 animation clips: 21 blinks, 23 character actions, 21 hatch reveals and 4 egg shakes. The snake and robot each have two actions; the other creatures have one.
• 952 individual PNG files cover animation frames, static posters and dim variants. This count includes shared frames and posters, not 952 different poses; repeated timeline entries preserve held poses without duplicating files.
• 69 sprite sheets with JSON frame rectangles and playback timing.
• 73 prepared PNG layers for optional editing, including body and eggshell layers where supplied. These are raster editing aids, not a rig.
• One static incubator background in two sizes, plus an offline animation viewer and integration notes.

Check the size before buying

Main frames and posters are 224 × 224 pixels with transparency. Character reactions play at 20 FPS; egg shakes and hatch reveals at 10 FPS. Separate dim posters are 110 × 110 for creatures and 160 × 160 for eggs. The opaque background is supplied at 480 × 480 and 1254 × 1254.

These assets suit small on-screen characters. The shaded look is 2D raster artwork, not a 3D model. The layers are editing aids; a full rig, PSD or editable animation timeline is not included. The background is flattened, including its lights and empty panels.

What you bring

Your project handles animation triggers, progress, random selection, UI text and saving state. The pack contains no game engine project, app, watch-face installer, step tracking, sound or fonts. Generic PNG and JSON files are included; an engine-specific importer is not supplied.

Artwork disclosure

Artwork was created with generative AI, then prepared into layers and programmatically authored animations. The product is not advertised as hand-drawn, exclusive, or unique to one buyer.

One purchasing person or company may use and modify the assets in unlimited personal and commercial finished projects, including games, apps and watch faces. No attribution or recurring royalty.
